Ingredients
- 4 slices bacon
- 1 large shallot
- 1/4 cup red wine vinegar
- 4 oz blue cheese
- 1/3 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 3 tbsp milk
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 head iceberg lettuce
- 12 oz cherry or grape tomatoes
Steps
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 6 to 8 minutes until crisp, then crumble it.
- Whisk the mayonnaise, sour cream, milk, vinegar, garlic, salt, pepper, and half the blue cheese in a bowl.
- Cut the lettuce into four wedges and place them on a platter.
- Top the wedges with tomatoes, shallot, bacon, and the remaining blue cheese.
- Drizzle the dressing over the wedges and serve.
