- 1 cup plain flour / all-purpose flour
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp cooking salt / kosher salt
- 3/4 cup creamy peanut butter not natural peanut butter
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup m&ms
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips / semi-sweet chips
- 3 tbsp m&ms
- 2 tbsp dark chocolate chips / semi-sweet chips
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F.
- Whisk the flour, oats, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
- Beat the butter, peanut butter, egg, vanilla, and brown sugar in a large bowl until smooth.
- Stir the dry mixture, one cup of M&Ms, and one-half cup of chocolate chips into the butter mixture.
- Scoop 18 portions onto baking sheets, then press the remaining M&Ms and chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 10 to 12 minutes, then cool the cookies on the sheets for 10 minutes.
