2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves garlic
kosher salt (optional)

4 slices bacon (optional)

Steps

Chop the cabbage and mince the garlic.
Cook four sliced bacon strips in a six-quart pot over medium heat for 4 minutes, then remove them.
