Ingredients
- 18 oz ground beef
- 1/3 cup grated yellow onion
- 3/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 carrot
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 large egg
- 2 tsp tomato ketchup
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper

Steps
- Grate the carrot, mince the garlic, and combine them with the beef, onion, breadcrumbs, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Shape the mixture into 8 even patties.
- Heat a thin layer of oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 5 to 6 minutes per side, turning once, until browned and the centers reach 160 F.
- Serve the rissoles with the optional ketchup.
