Common questions

What is the cheapest grocery store near me?

Pick your city below. Each page ranks the stores that have a weekly ad in that area, using advertised prices on everyday staples. If your city is not listed, use the ZIP finder on the find-your-ad page.

How do you rank stores?

We turn each ad price into a price per pound, ounce or each, divide it by our typical everyday price, and average across the staples the store advertises. A store needs 5 of 45 staples in its ad to be ranked, and a city needs 3 ranked stores to get a page.

How often does the ranking change?

Every week with the new ads. The date on each page is the date the ads were read.

Turn these sales into dinners

Pick how many people are eating and how many dinners you want. We choose dinners that use what is on sale, show the cost, and make your shopping list by aisle.
