- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 poung ground pork (optional)
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup mild cheddar cheese
- 16 oz ricotta cheese
- grated parmesan cheese
- 1 jar (26 oz) ragu tomato sauce
- 1 package (12 oz) lasagna noodles
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and boil the lasagna noodles until flexible, about 8 minutes.
- Cook the beef and sausage in a large skillet for 12 minutes, until the meat reaches 160 F.
- Stir the tomato sauce into the cooked meat and simmer it for 5 minutes.
- Mix the ricotta, mozzarella, cheddar, and parmesan in a medium bowl.
- Layer sauce, noodles, and cheese in a 9-by-13-inch baking dish, ending with sauce and cheese.
- Bake the lasagna for 40 minutes, then let it rest for 10 minutes before serving.
