Ingredients
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/2 white onion
- 2 jalapeños
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground coriander
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 cans (15 oz) black beans
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Cook the onion and jalapeños for 5 minutes until softened.
- Stir in the garlic, cumin, chili powder, coriander, and oregano for 1 minute.
- Add the black beans and 1/2 cup water, then simmer uncovered for 15 minutes.
- Season with salt and pepper, then serve hot.
