- 1/4 cup melted butter
- 1 cup store-bought basil pesto
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese or italian cheese blend
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F and place the loaf on a baking sheet.
- Cut the loaf into a grid without slicing through the bottom crust.
- Brush the melted butter and pesto into the cuts.
- Fill the cuts with mozzarella cheese.
- Wrap the loaf in foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Uncover the bread and bake for 5 minutes until the cheese is melted.
