Ingredients

4 lb russet potatoes peeled
1 1/4 cups hot milk we used whole milk
16 tbsp unsalted butter
1 1/2 tsp salt (optional)
1 tbsp fresh parsley or chives (optional)

Steps

Cut the peeled potatoes into 1-inch pieces.
Boil the potatoes in a large pot of salted water for 20 minutes, until tender.
