Ingredients
- 250 g plain chocolate
- 175 g butter
- 2 tbsp milk
- 5 eggs
- 175 g granulated sugar
- 125 g flour
Steps
- Melt the chocolate, butter, and milk together in a heatproof bowl, then cool for 5 minutes.
- Beat the eggs and granulated sugar for 3 minutes until thick and pale.
- Fold in the melted chocolate mixture and flour until just combined.
- Pour the batter into a greased 9-inch springform pan and bake at 350 F for 30 minutes.
- Cool the gateau in the pan for 12 minutes before removing the ring.
