Ingredients
- 1 lb fusilli pasta
- 1/3 cup extra-virgin olive oil
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 cups cherry tomatoes
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/2 cup packed fresh basil leaves
- 8 oz fresh mozzarella pearls
Steps
- Boil salted water in a large pot, cook the fusilli until tender according to the package time, and drain.
- Warm the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat, add the sliced garlic, and cook for 1 minute.
- Add the cherry tomatoes, salt, and pepper, then cook for 6 to 8 minutes until the tomatoes soften.
- Toss the drained pasta with the tomato mixture and basil in the skillet.
- Remove the skillet from the heat, fold in the mozzarella pearls, and serve warm.
