Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak
- wooden skewers
- 1/2 cup beer
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 1 lemon
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
Steps
- Soak the wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes.
- Whisk the beer, soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, brown sugar, garlic powder, paprika, and red pepper in a bowl.
- Cut the flank steak into strips, coat them with the marinade, and chill for 25 minutes.
- Thread the beef onto the skewers and grill over high heat for 4 to 5 minutes per side.
- Cook until the thickest pieces reach 145 F, then rest the skewers for 5 minutes.
