- 1 egg
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup molasses
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3 tbsp water
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 tsp salt
- 4 cups flour
- 2 cups jam
Steps
- Beat the butter, sugar, egg, molasses, vanilla, and water until smooth.
- Stir in the flour, baking powders, cinnamon, and salt to make a soft dough.
- Cover the dough and chill it for 20 minutes.
- Heat the oven to 350 F and place rounded dough portions on baking sheets.
