- 1/2 cup coconut aminos or low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1/4 cup keto-friendly sweeteners like erythritol
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp freshly grated ginger
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
- 5 lb beef short ribs
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions
- 1 tsp sesame seeds
Steps
- Whisk the coconut aminos, beef broth, sweetener, minced garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and red pepper in a bowl.
- Place the short ribs in a 6-quart slow cooker and pour the sauce over them.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours, until the ribs are tender and reach at least 145 F.
- Transfer the ribs to a platter and spoon the cooking sauce over them.
- Sprinkle the ribs with green onions and sesame seeds.
