Ingredients
- 2 lb la cut short ribs or regular short ribs
- 1/2 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tsp fresh ginger
- 1/2 asian pear or bosc pear
- 2 scallions
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp toasted sesame oil
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Steps
- Blend the onion, garlic, ginger, pear, soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, and black pepper until smooth.
- Coat the short ribs with the marinade and rest them for 15 minutes.
- Heat a large grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the ribs for 4 to 5 minutes per side, until browned and at least 145 F inside.
- Slice the scallions and scatter them over the cooked ribs.
