Ingredients
- 1 package (8 oz) cream cheese
- 1 tbsp taco seasoning
- 8 oz pepper jack
- 3 cups shredded cooked chicken
- 18 soft taco tortillas
- 1 tbsp butter
- toppings: sour cream
Steps
- Heat the oven to 400 F.
- Mix the cream cheese, taco seasoning, pepper jack, and cooked chicken in a medium bowl.
- Place filling near the lower edge of each tortilla, fold in the sides, and roll them tightly.
- Arrange the chimichangas seam-side down on a baking sheet and brush them with melted butter.
- Bake for 15 minutes, until crisp and the filling is hot.
- Check that the thickest part of the poultry reaches 165 F before serving.
- Serve with sour cream.
