Ingredients
- 9 cups fresh strawberries
- 3 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 2/3 cup water
- 3 oz strawberry jell-o
- 6 tbsp butter
- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
Steps
- Melt the butter, stir in graham cracker crumbs and sugar, then press the mixture into a 9-inch pie plate.
- Chill the crust for 20 minutes while preparing the filling.
- Whisk water, cornstarch, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan, heat over medium heat until thick, and stir in the gelatin.
- Cool the gelatin mixture for 10 minutes, then fold in 3 cups sliced strawberries.
- Spoon the filling into the crust, arrange the remaining strawberries on top, and chill for at least 6 hours.
