- 1 lb chicken breast
- salt to season
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp ground pepper
- 1/2 tsp dried mexican oregano
- 1 1/2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil or drizzled with pam cooking spray
Steps
- Slice the chicken breast into thin cutlets and season both sides with salt, garlic powder, cumin, pepper, and oregano.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 2 minutes.
- Cook the chicken for 5 to 6 minutes per side, working in batches if needed.
- Drizzle the lime juice over the chicken during the last minute of cooking.
- Check that the thickest pieces reach 165 F, then rest the chicken for 2 minutes.
