Ingredients
- 6 oz smoked sausage
- 18 oz fresh cheese ravioli
- 1 cup pasta sauce
- 2/3 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese
- salt and pepper to taste (optional)
Steps
- Slice the smoked sausage and brown it in a large skillet over medium heat for 5 minutes.
- Boil salted water in a 4-quart pot and cook the ravioli for 3 to 5 minutes until tender.
- Add the pasta sauce, cream, and water to the skillet, then simmer for 5 minutes.
- Drain the ravioli and stir it into the sauce with the sausage.
- Sprinkle in the parmesan and cook for 2 minutes, adding salt and pepper if needed.
