Ingredients
- 12 oz pepperidge farm herb cubed stuffing mix
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 stalks celery
- 1 onion
- 2 cups low-sodium vegetable broth
- 1 large honey crisp apple
- 1 cup dried cranberries
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon (optional)
- 1/8 tsp black pepper
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with oil.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the celery and onion for 5 minutes, until softened.
- Stir the stuffing mix, apple, cranberries, cinnamon, and pepper into the skillet.
- Whisk the broth and egg together, then stir them into the stuffing mixture.
- Spread the mixture in the baking dish and bake for 30 minutes, until hot and firm.
