- 1/2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 cup walnuts
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
- 6 cups mixed salad greens
- 1 red apple
- 1 green apple
- 1/3 cup dried cranberries
- 1/2 cup feta cheese (optional)
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 1/2 tbsp honey
- 1/4 tsp salt (optional)
- 1/4 tsp ground black pepper
Steps
- Soften the butter at room temperature for 10 minutes.
- Stir the softened butter, brown sugar, walnuts, and cinnamon in a small bowl.
- Whisk olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
- Core and thinly slice both apples.
- Place the greens, apples, cranberries, and feta in a large bowl.
- Add the walnut mixture and dressing, then toss gently.
