Ingredients
- 1/2 loaf white bread
- 680 g cheddar cheese
- 135 g cubed cooked ham
- 8 eggs
- 475 ml milk
- 1 g salt
- 1 dash hot pepper sauce (optional)
- 25 g chopped green onion
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking oil.
- Tear the bread into the dish, then scatter the ham, green onion, and cheddar over it.
- Whisk the eggs, milk, salt, and hot pepper sauce in a large bowl until blended.
- Pour the egg mixture evenly over the bread and cheese, then let it stand for 5 minutes.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes until puffed, lightly browned, and firm in the center.
