Ingredients
- 8 oz manicotti shells
- 1 container (15 oz) whole milk ricotta cheese
- 2 cups mozzarella cheese
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried italian seasonings
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 2 cups marinara sauce
Steps
- Heat the oven to 375 F.
- Boil the shells in salted water for about 6 minutes, then drain them.
- Mix the ricotta, egg, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Fill each shell with the ricotta mixture.
- Spread 1 cup marinara sauce in a 9-by-13-inch baking dish, arrange the shells, and cover them with the remaining sauce and mozzarella.
- Bake for 25 minutes, until the filling is firm and the cheese is melted.
