4 lobster tails
1 tsp salt (optional)
1 pinch cracked pepper (optional)
2 tbsp cooking oil
1/2 cup unsalted butter
2 tbsp lemon juice
4 cloves garlic
3 slices lemon
1 tbsp fresh parsley (optional)

Steps

Cut the lobster tails in half lengthwise and season the meat with salt and pepper.
Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat for 2 minutes.
Place the lobster cut-side down and sear for 3 minutes.
Turn the lobster, add the butter, garlic, lemon juice, and lemon slices, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes.
Check that the meat reaches 145 F and flakes easily, then spoon the garlic butter over the tails.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve hot.
