- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup bisquick
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup extra-sharp cheddar cheese
Steps
- Heat the oven to 400 F and grease a 9-inch pie plate with cooking oil.
- Cook the beef, chopped onion, and garlic in a skillet over medium heat for 8 to 10 minutes, until the beef reaches 160 F.
- Stir in the Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Whisk the baking mix, milk, and eggs in a bowl until smooth.
- Spread the beef mixture in the pie plate and pour the batter over it.
- Bake for 25 minutes, add the cheddar, and bake for 5 minutes more.
- Rest the pie for 5 minutes before cutting.
