Ingredients
- 2 lb 85% lean ground beef
- 4 small ciabatta or sourdough rolls
- 4 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 1/4 tsp onion powder
- 8 tbsp butter
- 8 slices medium cheddar cheese
Steps
- Heat the oven to 400 F and line a large baking sheet with foil.
- Mix the beef, Worcestershire sauce, garlic salt, pepper, and onion powder, then form eight patties.
- Place the patties on the sheet and bake for 15 to 18 minutes, until they reach 160 F.
- Top each patty with cheddar during the last 2 minutes of baking.
- Brush the cut rolls with butter and toast them on the sheet for 3 to 4 minutes.
