Ingredients
- 32 oz shredded potatoes
- 10 1/2 oz condensed cheddar cheese soup
- 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 cup cornflakes
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking dish with cooking oil.
- Stir the soup, sour cream, milk, quarter-cup butter, garlic powder, and onion powder in a large bowl.
- Fold in the shredded potatoes and cheddar cheese, spread the mixture in the dish, and bake for 35 minutes.
- Mix the cornflakes with the melted butter, sprinkle them over the casserole, and bake for 10 minutes.
