- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
- 1 package white cake mix
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 tsp almond extract
- vanilla ice cream (optional)
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and butter a 9-by-13-inch baking dish.
- Spread the cherry pie filling and almond extract across the bottom of the dish.
- Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the cherries.
- Melt the butter and pour it evenly over the cake mix.
