- 2 tbsp water
- 2 lb chicken breasts
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp ancho chili powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 packet dry ranch seasoning mix
- 8 oz 1/3 less fat cream cheese
- hot sauce to taste (optional)
Steps
- Place the chicken breasts in a 6-quart slow cooker.
- Mix the oil, water, cumin, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, oregano, paprika, and ranch seasoning, then spread it over the chicken.
- Cook on low for 4 hours, until the chicken reaches 165 F.
- Add the cream cheese, cover, and cook for 5 minutes.
- Stir the cream cheese into the cooking juices before serving.
