- 1/4 tsp pepper (optional)
- 1/2 onion
- 1 carrot
- 3 cloves garlic
- 3 cups cabbage
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
- 2 tsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp chopped green onion (optional)
- 1/4 tsp sesame seeds (optional)
Steps
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook beef, onion, carrot, garlic, salt, and pepper for 6 minutes, breaking up the beef until it reaches 160°F.
- Add cabbage and cook for 5 minutes until tender.
- Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, and sugar, then cook for 2 minutes.
- Top with green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
