Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1/4 cup cold black coffee
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 3/4 cups all purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 1 cup raisins
- 1 cup dates
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and line a baking sheet with cooking oil.
- Beat the butter, brown sugar, egg, coffee, and vanilla in a large bowl.
- Stir in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
- Fold in the raisins and dates until evenly mixed.
- Drop rounded spoonfuls onto the baking sheet and bake for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Cool the cookies on the baking sheet for 5 minutes.
