Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups espresso or very strong black coffee
- 1 cup baileys irish cream
- 2 large eggs
- 16 oz mascarpone cheese
- 2 1/2 tsp natural unsweetened cocoa powder
Steps
- Stir the coffee and Irish cream in a shallow bowl.
- Whisk the eggs and sugar in a heatproof bowl over gently simmering water until thick and 160 F, about 6 minutes.
- Remove the bowl from the heat, cool the egg mixture for 3 minutes, and fold in the mascarpone.
- Dip the ladyfingers briefly in the coffee mixture and arrange half in a 9-inch square dish.
- Spread half the mascarpone mixture over the biscuits, repeat the layers, and dust the top with cocoa powder.
- Chill the tiramisu for 5 minutes before serving.
