Ingredients
- 2 cups pretzels
- 3 tbsp brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 strawberry jello
- 2 cups boiling water
- 1 pkg frozen strawberries
- 1 cream cheese
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 8 oz cool whip or 2 cups fresh whipped cream
Steps
- Crush the pretzels, mix them with the brown sugar and melted butter, and press the mixture into a 9-by-13-inch dish.
- Chill the crust while preparing the filling.
- Beat the cream cheese and granulated sugar until smooth, then fold in the whipped topping.
- Spread the cream cheese mixture over the pretzel crust and chill it until firm.
- Dissolve the strawberry gelatin in boiling water, stir in the frozen strawberries, and cool the mixture until slightly thickened.
