Ingredients
- 3 cups bread flour (optional)
- 1 1/2 tsp kosher salt (optional)
- 3/4 tsp instant yeast
- 1 1/2 cups warm water
- 4 tbsp olive oil
- 1 1/2 cups pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 15 slices pepperoni (optional)
- fresh basil leaves (optional)
Steps
- Mix the flour, salt, yeast, warm water, and 2 tablespoons olive oil into a soft dough for 5 minutes.
- Cover the dough and let it rise in a warm place for 90 minutes.
- Oil a 12-inch oven-safe skillet with the remaining 2 tablespoons oil, press in the dough, and rest it for 20 minutes.
- Heat the oven to 450 F and spread the pizza sauce over the dough.
- Top with mozzarella, pepperoni, and basil, then bake for 25 minutes until the crust is browned and the cheese is melted.
- Cool the pizza in the skillet for 10 minutes before slicing.
