Ingredients
- 6 roma tomatoes
- 1/3 cup basil leaves
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
- 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- balsamic glaze (optional)
- 1 baguette
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 1/3 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Steps
- Dice the tomatoes and chop the basil and garlic.
- Mix the tomatoes, basil, garlic, balsamic vinegar, two tablespoons olive oil, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Let the mixture rest for 20 minutes.
- Slice the baguette into 24 pieces and brush them with the remaining olive oil.
- Top the slices with the tomato mixture and Parmesan.
- Drizzle with balsamic glaze if using.
