- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 cups packed fresh basil leaves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
- 2/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup grated parmigiano-reggiano
- 1 lb pasta

Steps
- Toast the walnuts in a dry skillet over medium heat for 3 minutes, then cool them.
