Ingredients
- 4 lb boneless pork butt
- 3 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 large brown
- 8 cloves garlic
- 2 limes
- 2 large oranges
- 3/4 cup coke
- 2 bay leaves
Steps
- Cut the pork butt into 1 1/2-inch pieces.
- Toss the pork with salt, pepper, oregano, and cumin.
- Place the pork, onion, garlic, bay leaves, lime juice, orange juice, and cola in a large Dutch oven.
- Cover and simmer over medium heat for 30 minutes.
- Uncover and cook for 10 minutes, turning often, until browned and at least 145 F inside.
