Ingredients
- 1 lb ground pork
- 2 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 carrot
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- vegetable oil for cooking the meat and frying
Steps
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the pork for 5 minutes, then add the cabbage, carrot, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger and cook for 5 minutes, until the pork reaches 160 F.
- Cool the filling for 5 minutes.
- Fill and roll the 12 wrappers, sealing each one with water.
- Heat 1 inch of oil to 350 F and fry the egg rolls in batches for 3 to 4 minutes per side, until crisp and hot.
