Ingredients
- 30 g / 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic
- 1/2 cup diced ham
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 2 1/2 cups day-old cooked jasmine rice
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tsp fish sauce
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/4 tsp white sugar
- 2 eggs
Steps
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat, then cook the garlic for 1 minute.
- Add the ham and peas and cook for 3 minutes until hot.
- Stir in the rice, tomato paste, fish sauce, soy sauce, and sugar, then fry for 5 minutes.
- Push the rice to one side, crack in the eggs, and scramble for 2 minutes until firm.
- Stir the cooked eggs into the rice and cook for 1 minute.
