3 lb tri-tip beef roast
2 cups beef broth
1 1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
6 slices swiss cheese (optional)

Steps

Mix the salt, pepper, thyme, rosemary, onion powder, oregano, and smoked paprika, then rub the mixture over the tri-tip.
Place the roast in a 6-quart slow cooker and add the garlic, beef broth, and Worcestershire sauce.
Cover and cook on low for 7 hours, until the roast reaches at least 145 F.
