Steps

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and cook the onion for 5 minutes.
Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds.
Stir in the tomatoes, oregano, water, salt, and pepper, then bring the mixture to a simmer.
Add the green beans, cover the skillet, and simmer for 12 to 15 minutes, until tender.
Uncover the skillet and simmer for 2 minutes to thicken the sauce.
