Ingredients
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 cups white granulated sugar
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tsp baking powder
- 3 pinches of salt
- 4 eggs
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with butter.
- Beat the butter and sugar in a large bowl until light and smooth.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl, then add it to the batter in turns with the milk.
- Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
