- 2 cans apple pie filling
- 1 tsp apple pie spice
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 box spice cake mix
- 1/4 cup walnuts
- 3/4 cup salted butter
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
- Spread the apple pie filling in the pan and sprinkle it with apple pie spice and cinnamon.
- Cover the filling with the dry cake mix and scatter the walnuts over the top.
- Arrange thin slices of butter across the cake mix and bake for 35 to 40 minutes, until golden and bubbling.
