Ingredients
- 1 3/4 cup white self raising flour
- 3/4 cup wholemeal self raising flour
- 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
- 1 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup milk
- 2 tsp pure vanilla extract
Steps
- Heat the oven to 350 F and grease a 9-by-13-inch baking pan.
- Whisk the self-rising flours, sugar, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl.
- Mash the bananas in another bowl, then whisk in the eggs, maple syrup, melted butter, milk, and vanilla.
- Stir the wet mixture into the dry mixture just until no dry spots remain.
- Spread the batter in the pan and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the center is set.
