Ingredients
- 1 lb grass-fed extra lean ground beef
- 1 egg
- 3/4 cup white onions
- kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper (optional)
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 3/4 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
- slices of iceberg lettuces
Steps
- Mix the beef, egg, white onions, smoked paprika, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
- Shape the mixture into four patties about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Cook the patties for 5 to 6 minutes per side, until they reach 160 F.
- Wrap the cooked burgers in iceberg lettuce leaves and serve.
