Ingredients
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp garlic
- 2 tbsp worcestershire sauce or teriyaki sauce
- 1/4 tsp liquid smoke
- 1 lb beef
Steps
- Heat the oven to 250 F and line a large baking sheet with foil.
- Slice the beef into thin strips, cutting across the grain.
- Stir the salt, pepper, brown sugar, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, and liquid smoke together in a bowl.
- Toss the beef in the seasoning mixture until coated.
- Arrange the beef on a wire rack over the baking sheet and bake for 35 minutes, until it reaches 160 F.
- Cool the jerky for 5 minutes before serving.
