- 3/4 cup crisp rice cereal
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp butter
- 4 cups miniature marshmallows
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 1 can (21 oz) cherry pie filling
Steps
- Whip the heavy cream in a medium bowl until soft peaks form, about 2 minutes.
- Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat and stir in the brown sugar, cereal, and walnuts for 2 minutes.
- Melt the marshmallows in a large saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth, about 3 minutes.
- Fold the cereal mixture into the melted marshmallows.
- Spread the mixture in a 9-inch square dish and layer the whipped cream and cherry pie filling over it.
