Ingredients
- 400 g tinned tomatos
- 110 g chorizo
- 140 g savoy cabbage
- sprinkling chilli flakes
- 400 g can chickpeas
- 1 chicken stock
Steps
- Slice the chorizo and cabbage, then drain the chickpeas.
- Cook the chorizo in a 5-quart pot over medium heat for 6 minutes.
- Add the tomatoes, chicken stock, 4 cups water, chickpeas, and chile flakes.
- Bring the soup to a boil, then cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Cook sausage until it reaches 160 F inside.
- Stir in the cabbage and simmer uncovered for 8 minutes, until tender.
