3 cups milk
1 cup cornstarch
2 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup coconut milk
1/2 cup coconut
2 cinnamon stick
1 can condensed milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/3 cup sugar
1 pinch salt
1 tbsp butter
to taste ground cinnamon (optional)

Steps

Whisk the cornstarch with 1 cup milk in a large saucepan until smooth.
Add the remaining milk, coconut milk, coconut, condensed milk, sugar, salt, and cinnamon sticks.
Cook over medium heat for 20 minutes, stirring constantly until thick.
Remove the cinnamon sticks, then stir in the butter and vanilla.
Pour the custard into a dish and chill for 15 minutes before sprinkling with ground cinnamon.
