Ingredients

  • 8 large eggs
  • 3 cups 70% dark chocolate bar
  • 1 cup grass fed butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup 70% dark chocolate bar
  • 1/4 cup almond milk

Steps

  1. Heat the oven to 325 F and coat a 9-inch springform pan with cooking oil.
  2. Melt 3 cups chocolate and the butter in a heatproof bowl over simmering water.
  3. Beat the eggs and vanilla in a large bowl until blended.
  4. Stir the melted chocolate mixture into the eggs.
  5. Pour the batter into the pan and bake for 30 minutes, until the center is firm.
  6. Cool the torte for 5 minutes, then melt the remaining chocolate with almond milk and spread it over the top.
